This 7,100 acre property in North Peoria was acquired by Sunbelt Holdings in partnership with Shea Homes in January 2001. At completion, Vistancia will consist of approximately 10,500 housing units, several golf courses, three school sites (elementary through high school), three City neighborhood parks, two City community parks and a 900 acre mountain preserve—linked by a three-mile Discovery Trail. More than four million square feet of commercial, mixed-use and business-park facilities will occupy 600 acres of the community.

Vistancia is a collection of intimate villages, each with their own amenities. Currently, Vistancia is comprised of Trilogy at Vistancia, an adult resort community, Vistancia Village, a family friendly community with a variety of builders, and Blackstone, a private country club community with custom homes and lots.

Vistancia opened to the public in February 2004.

Vistancia was named America’s Best Master Planned Community by the National Association of Home Builders.

Sunbelt Holdings is involved as both an investor and in the management of the Vistancia community.
