In the first quarter of 2008 Centex Homes (acquired by Pulte Homes in 2009) sold a portfolio of assets to a group formed by Farallon Capital Management (San Francisco), Greenfield Partners (Connecticut), and RSF Partners (Houston). The portfolio included mostly land assets in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, and Washington D.C.

The Arizona assets include finished and partially finished single-family residential lots in the master planned communities Johnson Ranch (Queen Creek), Desert Oasis (Surprise), and Tierra del Rio (Peoria).

Sunbelt Holdings is involved as a manager for the Project Corona assets.
